This article proposes some reflections on the relation between women and archives. Such subject is developed on the basis of two questions: where are women in archives, and to what extent digitization processes favour the recovery and conservation of
feminine documents. In order to respond to these topics, a case is utilized: the experience of sisters Olga and Leticia Cossettini as expressed in Leticia’s culinary notebook, recently discovered. Once the example is presented, theoretical clarifications around women and archives will be formulated, to conclude by revising the characteristics of digitization processes: universality, the place issue (archive), the material nature of documents, and the specificity of feminine document types in the digitization dynamics.
